Returning for the second year running at Australian Healthcare Week 2020, the Pitch Fest is your chance to educate both the healthcare industry, and leading technology players, about your organisation and the problems you help to solve.

It will feature 8 of the leading health startups in Australia and New Zealand, battling it out to be crowned this year's champion!

Why should I apply?

With over 90 applicants in 2019, we are expecting even more in 2020! Apart from the honour, publicity and opportunities that will stem from being the healthcare start up of the year, the winner of the Pitch Fest will also win a selection of prizes from some of the Australian Healthcare Week Sponsors to help you on your journey.

How will it work?

Firstly, you need to apply to be one of the 8 start ups that take part in the pitch fest.  The lucky 8 will be chosen according from all the applications we receive, based on their answers to the following questions:

1. What problem does your organisation solve?
2. What is unique about the way your business addresses this problem?

Secondly, the 8 participants chosen to be part of the pitch fest will each have 3 minutes to pitch their business to the judging panel, and then 3 minutes to answer any questions the judges may have. 

When and where will the Pitch Fest take place?

The pitch fest will take place at 3:00PM - 3:45PM on 25th of March 2020 at the Start Up Theatre at the Australian Healthcare Week.

When and where will the winner be announced?

Applications close Friday 6th March 2020. The top 8 finalists will be announced on Monday 16th March 2020 and the winner will be announced at the close of the Start Ups Pitch Fest at Australian Healthcare Week on the 25th March 2020 at 4PM.
