The world of Finance has changed drastically following disruptions to businesses globally with the pandemic. Finance leaders were left with much uncertainty around market conditions, business operations and remote working processes. The only thing that became certain through this pandemic is the importance of transformation to tide businesses through challenging times. The benefits of finance transformation became apparent, allowing CFOs and Finance leaders to drive focus towards accelerating such transformation. Future of Finance Interactive 2021 is an exclusive opportunity for you to take part in an intimate roundtable discussion, and connect with like-minded peers across multiple industries and sectors.

CFOs have always been indispensable to CEOs—never more so than during the COVID-19 crisis. The pandemic ratcheted up the pressure they feel to expand their role and influence across the C-suite. According to the latest global research study conducted by Accenture, 79% of the CFOs said that the effects of COVID-19 have pushed them to ramp up their transformation towards being strategic partner. (CFO Research 2020).
Finance leaders recognise that moving to a digital operating model is the means to the end here. It’s how CFOs can provide forward-looking insights to the business—everything from targeting new markets, channels and customer segments to developing new products, services and business models.
CFOs are expected to be the economic guardians but to truly embrace this role -- they need access to real-time insights and predictive modelling by moving to a future-ready operating model.
