The FCA’s new consumer duty has placed a tight timeline on implementing rules for open products and services by July 2023. It has placed the onus on the companies to ensure four key areas of consumer care for the protection of vulnerable customers:

Suitability of treatment
Consumer confidence in the market and organization
Suitable products to meet diverse consumer needs
