Stefan A. Schmid serves as the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of Allianz Services, the internal insurance operations unit of the Allianz Group, and the Global Head of Allianz Consulting, the in-house consultancy unit of Allianz Services. In this dual role, he manages and drives the customer and sales strategy of Allianz Services, while also steering the consultancy. With more than two decades of management experience, Stefan is known for his forward-thinking, customer centric approach to drive business growth and deliver operational excellence, while also developing and growing the future leaders of Allianz Group. At SSON’s flagship event held March 2024 in Orlando, Allianz Services received the award for the World’s Best GBS. The award, which is hosted by SSON Research & Analytics, aims to identify a GBS that represents "the world's best" based on contributing core value to the business in terms of cash, impact on working capital, margin and market growth.
