In this
role he is responsible for providing financial oversight and management for
both the Computing and Technology Services (CTS) department and Facilities
Management department.
Since joining the University in 2012 as an intern within
the Finance and Business division, Chase has also served as a budget analyst
for the Facilities Management department. In that role he was responsible for
all financial transactions, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
efforts.
Chase is active on campus serving on numerous University
committees focusing on areas like diversity and inclusion, staff advisory, and
United Way. He also serves as treasurer
on the SHYNE Awards Foundation Advisory Board - a community foundation that
showcases students within the Greater Pittsburgh area excelling in the
classroom and having a positive impact in their community.
Chase holds a bachelor’s of science in accounting and
minors in both finance and leadership from California University of
Pennsylvania (CalU). He received a
master’s in business administration from CalU as well. He is currently working
towards an Ed.D in Educational Leadership, focusing on the impact of Lean
practices within Higher Ed as a means to control the rising costs of Higher Education.
Chase is a husband and father of a four legged child.
Despite being raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania (outside of Philadelphia),
and currently residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he’s still not an Eagles or
Steelers fans. Go Pack Go!
