Collaborative Business Services Executive Committee chaired by Dr. Scott

collaborative projects that save money and improve quality.

following five “lines of business”: Sourcing and Contracting; Spend Analytics;

self-funded (admin fees paid by suppliers) and annually distributes excess
admin fees to the participating campuses on a pro rata basis.
Richard also
is leading the UT System Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Technology
Journey. RPA is computer software
programs that automates manual, tedious, mundane, error prone, etc. work at the
“keystroke” level. Early use case

increases) and repurposing employee time to more strategic, value-added work.
Richard received
a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and
a Masters of Accountancy from UT El Paso.
Richard is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Internal
