Ronn is a highly experienced professional who has successfully implemented the shared service model in higher education (University of Chicago & Yale University) and in state government (State of Ohio).
He is currently leading the effort to expand and mature the shared services organization for the University of Chicago focusing on the areas of human resources, procure to pay, expense management, and a contact center. Notable successes include the implementation of Workday Recruitment and Time & Absence, Service Now, automating accounts payable, and currently embarking on implementing robotic process automation (RPA). He also served as Interim Associate Vice President – Human Resources.
While at Yale, Ronn led the effort to transform the university’s business operations through implementation of a shared services operating model. Service lines integrated into Yale Shared Services include payroll, expense management, accounts payable, vendor compliance, client access, p-card administration, financial management (accounting and reconciliation, monthly/quarterly budget review) and a contact center.
