Uday Haral is an experienced global business process improvement leader who has worked in various industries such as information lifecycle management, energy, industrial equipment, consumer goods, and automotive manufacturing. He has spent time in various leadership roles at General Electric, Hitachi and Yamaha and Iron Mountain. He has successfully established and managed continuous improvement, quality management, and end-to-end process governance functions in a rapidly growing organization. While working at General Electric , he also implemented a proactive Quality Management System (QMS) and risk-based compliance/audit program, achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification for over 120 sites worldwide. He has trained and coached over 1000 professionals globally on various topics, including problem-solving, auditing, Six Sigma, QA, ISO, and TS 16949. He has experience qualifying over 20 global suppliers and coached them to develop sustainable CI programs. His achievements include creating and implementing countermeasures on 250+ problems throughout value chains, resulting in cost savings of $20MM+, successfully leading zero-defect initiatives on the transfer of ATV assembly lines from Japan to the US facility and launched various new product introductions (NPI) and model year updates to the market. Overall, Uday is an accomplished business leader with a proven track record of success in driving business process improvements, building effective teams, and achieving significant cost savings. He is an engineer by education with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, a masters in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Emory University and based out of the Greater Atlanta Area in Georgia.
