Jay’s experiences have helped him develop a unique combination of skills across enterprise-wide business transformation, shared services, vendor management  & procurement  across multiple industries at the executive level.

 

At JTI, Jay is leading the initiative to design, setup and manage a multi-functional Global Business Services organization in partnership with key stakeholders across Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, etc

 

Previously, while at AbbVie, Jay was responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to help define & operationalize the shared services and outsourcing operating model to enable the timely separation of the back office from Abbott Labs; and deliver governance over suppliers across Finance & Accounting, HR Operations, Multi-Country Payroll, Benefits, Travel, Facilities, IT, etc.

 

Prior to joining AbbVie, Jay served as a SVP at Northern Trust, where he led the Global Sourcing team and was responsible for designing, implementing & managing the bank’s enterprise-wide outsourcing function, supporting the creation of the captive shared services centers  in addition to supporting strategic planning for Operations & Technology.

 

Jay holds a Bachelors in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, India. In addition, he is an IAOP-certified Outsourcing Professional (COP), PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL v3 Foundation certified and holds the CCME accreditation from the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management.
