Sr. Director – Samsung NASB Finance Samsung

In his current role, he oversees a staff that are responsible for the credit and collections of Samsung Ad Sales & Partnerships. As part of his team’s responsibilities, they cover customer credit approvals and set up, distribution of invoices, collections, cash applications, bad debt reserves, and month end financial closings. He reports to the Head of Finance – NASB, located in Mountain View, CA. Prior to joining Samsung, Scott had a 26 year stint at The Walt Disney Company, moving from Home Entertainment and Buena Vista Television in Burbank, CA to ESPN in Bristol, CT, and ended his career at Disney by holding the position of TWDC – Director of Collections – North America overseeing the collections of all TWDC and their subsidiaries for 5 years. Prior to Disney, Scott was a Sr. Accountant at Deloitte & Touche. Scott was born and raised in New Bedford, MA, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut. Scott is part of several credit organizations, including the National Media Credit Professionals and previously served on the Board of Directors for the MFM/BCCA.
