Michelle Baker-Crail is the Vice President of Global Business Services (GBS) for S&P Global.  She manages a team of 250+ internal and third-party resources who are located globally and support the accounting and finance functions for the enterprise, including Source to Pay, Record to Report, and Order to Cash. Michelle is transforming the GBS organization in order to optimize resources and has improved and streamlined workflows and processes, including the use of Robotics and Automation.  She has developed a roadmap to continue to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve the internal and external customer experience.  Michelle has been with S&P Global for almost 25 years and has held a number of positions within the Corporate and Divisional Finance teams.  Prior to her current role, she held the role of Senior Director of Transition and Transformation for GBS and led a number of lean and process improvement projects to drive efficiencies and reduce costs. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University and has achieved RGCP and CGCE certification through the International Credit and Trade Finance Organization and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
