Matthias Egelhaaf

Global Head of Digital Solutions Siemens Business Services

Dr. Matthias Egelhaaf is CIO and CDO of Global Business Services. He is looking back on more than 20 years of experience in the international environment of Siemens with various leading senior positions such as Program Director for the global Service Integration as well as IT Service Director, ramping up the Service Management Organization in Europe, North- and Latin-America.

His resume spans various experiences in both, IT and Shared Service organizations alike, including, for example, overseeing the initial set up of the Siemens Shared Service organization as well as being responsible for managing the outsourcing of the IT infrastructure. Since October 2018 he joined back Global Business Services and has been shaping the organization by introducing the “GBS digital target landscape” as a technical fundament to digitally transform business services while exploiting various digital platforms in combination with a strong ecosystem.
