Chris Gunning

Enablement Leader Global Finance Operations NIQ

Chris is an Irish Chartered Accountant, with 20+ years of experience Designing, Building and Running operational Global Shared Services operations across the globe, including such far flung places like India, Brazil, Colombia, US, Asia, Eastern Europe, Netherlands, and even Ukraine & Pakistan.

He has represented Shared Services operations in companies in the Technology, Telecommunications; Manufacturing/Automotive; and CPG/Brewing industries. 

Chris joined Nielsen IQ in 2022, initially in a Global Finance Transformation role. After Designing their new go forward Shared Service Strategy to drive evolution and maturity of the operating model, in addition to building out the new leadership team, he is currently heading up the Enablement Team in their new Global Finance Oeprations teams (formerly the SSC) to ensure FinOps continues to get better, faster, stronger and more efficient. 

Outside of work Chris is passionate about anything Heavy Metal related a, including going frequently to many gigs and festivals (you will see him moshing down the front!), and collecting old metal and Classic vinyl LPs.
