Gaurav is the Head of Global Business Services (GBS) Service Enablement and Bangalore Hub Director at AstraZeneca. In this role, he is responsible for spearheading the GBS strategic vision; designing & implementing service management framework; embedding a data-driven decision making to identify opportunities to enhance the operating model; increasing the scale of shared services; and optimizing the footprint.

He is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations; enabling the growth plan; fostering a culture of excellence; and ensuring the continued success of the teams based in Bangalore Hub.

Gaurav is a senior business leader with rich and diverse experience in Global Business Services, Global Omnichannel Operations, Strategic Vendor Management and Key Account Management. He has a successful track record of building, scaling up and managing global teams to help unlock the full potential of the Shared Services operating model.

Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Gaurav served as the Global Content Hub Lead at GSK and prior to that, as the Head of Customer Liaison and Strategy at Novartis in Ireland. Gaurav holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from Delhi University and an MBA from Nanyang Business School, Singapore.
