Philip Tan is the Head for UOB Innovation Hub 2 and UOB Centre of Excellence in Malaysia. He has 22+ years of general management experience across IT strategy, planning, large program delivery and service operations across financial services and consumer products industry, including 14 years in the Shared Services/Global Business Services delivery environment. With UOB Group, Philip is responsible for the greenfield setup and growth of of UOB’s technology delivery centre in Malaysia. He is also responsible for the management of UOB's Centre of Excellence, which provides multi-channel customer service, banking operations and processing services for the Bank's customers. Prior to this, Philip was the Location Head of Standard Chartered GBS Technology and Innovation (T&I) in Malaysia, and held various technology management and delivery roles in British American Tobacco, Accenture and Avanade. Philip holds a Master of Computer Science from National University of Singapore.
