Gerard Magadia

Gerard has more than 25 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply & Demand Planning, Production Planning & Control, Import & Export and Vendor Management. With demonstrated history of working in the Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Logistics & Distribution, Engineering, Procurement & Construction, Utility & Power Industries, Banking and Financial Institutions.

Gerard, currently works as the Vice President & General Manager of Procurement Shared Services (PSS)- Yuchengco Group of Companies, House of Investments, Inc. Prior to joining HOI, he was the Head of Supply Chain Management of Concepcion Carrier Airconditioning Company. He also worked with Meralco as Head of Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management and EEI Corporation as AVP & Head of Strategic Procurement, among others.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and has earned units in Masters in Business Administration from Ateneo Graduate School of Business. He is also a graduate of Management Development Program under the Executive Education and Lifelong Learning of Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

Gerard is currently a member of the Board of PISM as Vice President for Professional Development Center (PDC) and a member of the Board of Examiner for the National Certification Programs.

In his personal capacity, he is a seasoned local & international speaker, trainer and lecturer in various areas of Supply Chain and is involved on various Procurement projects like Optimizing Procurement Synergy, Agile Vendor Sourcing & Development, Supply Chain Sustainability, Vendor Partnership Maturity Enhancement, etc.
