Before becoming the Executive Director of B&M Global Services Manila, Inc. six years ago, Lorie had extensive experience as a CFO of various multinational companies including IBM Business Services, Inc., Linde Gas, and Hewlett-Packard Philippines. She became a Certified Public Accountant after completing her undergrad studies at the University of the Philippines. She also earned her MBA from the University of South Wales. As a catalyst for progress, Lorie applies her leadership skills to design strategies and drive outcomes that are beneficial to the business, clients and stakeholders, and people (employees). Under her leadership, and in partnership with her executive leadership team, B&M Global Services Manila, earned its status as an Employer of Choice through HR Asia.

Established in 2000, GSM started as an innovative idea involving a small team of five (5) members providing offshore document support services. Today, GSM is made up of over 1,000 employees who provide a multitude of services to Baker McKenzie's member firms across the world in the areas of technology, finance, admin operations, business development and marketing, human resources, and knowledge management, among others. Its success served as the blueprint for the establishment of Baker McKenzie's three other current shared service centers across the globe.
GSM focuses on value-driven initiatives that elevate the experiences of its clients, stakeholders, and people. As a result, over the years, they have – along with external organizations – recognized GSM for its excellence in culture creation, IT capabilities, marketing communications, CSR, and health programs, among others.
