With more than 15 years working within Global Business Services, Salvatore Russo has a driven the establishment of Global Shared Services, generating material value to the Enterprises he worked for. Joining AstraZeneca in April 2018, after 10 years at Vodafone leading Strategy and Engagement, he is currently the Global Head of GBS & Enterprise Location Strategy. Within this role he has designed and implemented a GBS model which frees company resources to accelerate the creation and commercialization of life-saving medicines. This model also allows for the expansion of AstraZeneca’s global footprint enabling them to engage the global talents required to realize AZ’s bold ambition.
