Matt Evans is Global Process Owner P2P/AP for Rolls-Royce, one of the world’s leading producers of aero engines and power systems, responsible for global payables processes focusing on automation, cost savings and simplification throughout Rolls Royce’s shared services operations for over £12 billion spend. Matt was formerly Global Process Owner, P2P at AstraZeneca, a top 10 pharmaceutical company, responsible for driving standardisation and simplification into global processes covering both internal and outsourced shared service activities across its 100 countries. Prior to AstraZeneca, Matt was Group Business Process Owner of BG Group, now part of Royal Dutch Shell, a FTSE 100 oil and gas company, providing strategic direction and management on multi-million pound transformational projects across EMEA, US and Australia. Previous to BG Group, Matt delivered specialist procure to pay consultancy to many blue chip clients in the pharmaceutical, media, banking, manufacturing, government and transportation industries enabling the implementation of enhanced processes and new technologies (SAP, Ariba, Oracle iProcurement, etc.). Matt holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) specialising in Finance and is a Chartered Accountant and also Chartered in Procurement (MCIPS).
