Ellen currently leads the Strategy and Value Realization team for Bayer’s Global Business Services. Building further on a strong foundation, the new GBS strategy for Bayer aims to increase the operation excellence within its centers, deliver additional value to the business and generate more insights, and ultimately bring this ambition to life by empowering the more than 5000 individuals that form GBS at Bayer. Prior to joining Bayer, Ellen supported multiple large corporations as a Management Consultant in the development and implementation of their GBS strategy, design of continuous improvement programs and implementation of digital enablers.
Bayer Shared Services is 20 years old and poised for a refresh with a new vision and strategies. Recently, the team carried out extensive benchmarking work and looked back at what they have done in the past 20 years to shape their strategies for the next 5-10 years. Following that work, a huge GBS re-launch has been set in motion, with exciting and unique new scopes of work and redefined capabilites, all aimed at generating growth and business value.
