Laura Pui Moldovan is a highly experienced senior HR leader with over 18 years of expertise in global, Fortune 500 companies, where she has successfully led diverse, multicultural teams across key HR functions. Her areas of specialization include HR business partnering, talent management, talent acquisition, learning and development and HR operations/services, across a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, retail, BPO outsourcing, and shared services in matrix organizations.

Laura began her career in core HR areas such as payroll, compensation and benefits, training, and HR business partnering, working with prominent companies such as Merck and Genpact. At Genpact, she was selected for an 18-month leadership development program, during which she gained valuable international experience in India. In 2016, she transitioned to GBS Kellogg, where she led the newly established European HR operations in Bucharest, Romania.

In 2020, Laura relocated to Bulgaria to lead the HR Services function for Central Eastern Europe and Africa at the shared service centre of Coca-Cola HBC. Two years later, she moved to Portugal to assume the role of HR Director for the Hire-to-Retire function at GBS adidas, a position she continues to hold. Her recent focus has been on enhancing the employee experience, ensuring service excellence, and driving operational efficiency.

Throughout her career, Laura has developed and implemented people strategies that align with business objectives, fostered talent development, and played a key role in HR transformation initiatives, such as the recent transition from SAP to SuccessFactors at adidas. She has worked at both strategic and operational levels, consistently driving continuous improvement across global and regional HR projects. Her experience includes M&A integrations, organizational restructuring, policy and procedure implementation, organizational design, employee engagement, and the development of upskilling programs. Outside of work, Laura is passionate about traveling, having explored numerous countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with Australia and Africa still on her bucket list. She also enjoys long walks on the beach, making Porto an ideal location for her daily walks.
