Rūta Jasiulionienė is responsible for running SEB Global Services centres in Lithuania and Latvia, tasked with providing world-class services to SEB Group customers and business divisions in 20 countries. From Vilnius and Riga, SEB Global Services delivers a broad range of functions – bank operations, trading control and sub-custody operations, financial crime prevention, HR services and finance, as well as data analytics, IT, digitisation and automation. Rūta started her career at SEB Lithuania as the Head of Accounts Operations Management department and later became the Head of HR at SEB Global Services. She moved into her current role as the Head of SEB Global Services in 2016. Since then the number of employees has increased from 1000 to 2700, making SEB Global Services one of the largest global business services centres in the Baltics. Under Rūta’s leadership, the operating model for business support in SEB Global Services was transformed to ensure the most efficient delivery of end-to-end support functions to business areas. Some of the most notable recent achievements are the completion of the new office building NOVA in Vilnius, to which all 1600 employees moved in spring of 2021, as well as the ongoing construction of a new office building GUSTAVS in Riga, which will be finished in the spring of 2023. Both offices operate according to principles of the ‘activity-based office’ concept, offering a high degree of flexibility to employees and encouraging collaboration and creativity.
