Alison is the founder and head of product for Space Plan Wizard, a workplace analytics platform created to support the seismic shift in how we assess and use office space. Designed for real estate teams, architects, designers and strategists, Space Plan Wizard’s software analyzes workplace data for space planning, programming, and benchmarking purposes. Informed design concepts and leasing decisions can be made with greater accuracy and in a fraction of the time. Prior to Space Plan Wizard, Alison was a workplace architectural designer and strategist at IA Interior Architects, a leading commercial architecture firm. She was fortunate to work extensively on high profile office space projects in a variety of sectors internationally, including Google campuses, Amazon, and the Salesforce Tower. Frustration however with the lack of technical tools to complete her work inspired her to create solutions to fill these gaps in the AEC proptech market. She has a Master of Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona, a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, and is an active member of numerous trade organizations including the AIA, IIDA, and CoreNet chapters in Northern California. In addition, Alison serves on the Design Technology Committee for the AIA’s San Francisco chapter. She enjoys participating at conferences that focus on the future of the workplace.
