Everest Group’s Sherpas in Blue series just came out with a report on Malaysia citing continued activity and new operations on the basis, primarily, of strong Government support and first class infrastructure. IT-BPO grew 15% over the past five years (which were tough years for anyone who’s counting). The outstanding trend is of multi-nationals leveraging Malaysian centers to support regional operations, but also act as a GBS.
