In 2005, Naomi Secor began her career with SSON in New York City. There she produced and ran SSON’s US. events portfolio until 2008 at which time she expanded her role to SSON’s Global Events Producer. While still active in the shared services arena, Naomi built a portfolio of events under a newly created IQPC line of business.
As global leader of SSON, Naomi is responsible for the strategic direction and continuous growth of all SSON customer channels. That includes SSON events, SSON’s online portal, www.ssonetwork.com, and SSON’s research and data analytics centre, SSON Analytics. The latter now provides data-driven insights via access to interactive visual analytics reports and data tools.
Naomi has spent her career developing cutting edge content, producing leading industry events, introducing new products, cultivating and nurturing business relationships with shared services leaders and partners and maintaining customer satisfaction. It is her priority to ensure that SSON lives up to its global mission statement and commitment to its customers. This is accomplished through vendor-agnostic best practice content, newest data insights, unparalleled networking and learning opportunities.
Cathy Gu
Event Director, Shared Services and Outsourcing Network
IQPC Europe
Cathy Gu is a Senior Event Director of the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network (SSON), responsible for developing and delivering the European flagship SSOW Summit.
Since joining IQPC and SSON in London in 2016, Cathy has successfully curated and delivered some of the largest events in both North America and in Europe. Yet, Cathy’s career with SSON started back in 2010 when she joined the IQPC and SSON office in Singapore where she oversaw some of the key SSON events in Asia and China.
Cathy has also worked in the U.S and China which provides a global view on the market development yet enables her to take a tailored approach when developing cutting-edge content for all markets.
Mike Stops
Group Director Service Centres
NSG Group
Mike Stops is the Group Director of Service Centres for the Nippon Sheet Glass group, (NSG). In this role Mike is responsible for standardising and then improving the services offered to NSG by the Group Business Services (GBS) teams, a virtual organisation with major presences in Poland, China and Brazil. Mike’s current portfolio includes growing the number of NSG Companies that use GBS and to deliver more services in: Finance; HR; Procurement; IS; Commercial and directly to the Strategic Business Units. NSG’s GBS is responsible for delivering Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to Group and internally to improve the quality and effectiveness of the services offered. Mike graduated from Aston University, with a B.Sc. Combined Honours in Chemistry and Computer Science. He has previously worked in IS roles the Nuclear Power, Banking, Professional Services and Insurance sectors. Mike is married to Fiona with two grown up children. Apart from his family, Mike’s interests are Rugby, mountaineering and swimming.
