KPMG
Joris has been leading the 'Robotic Process Automation' proposition at KPMG for several years. Through this proposition, clients are supported in projects ranging from determining a robotics strategy and initial proofs of concept to full implementation and go-live of the chosen automation solution. Additionally, he is directly involved in several digital transformation projects for clients across various sectors.
In addition to his work at KPMG, he teaches the practical application of robotics for the Dutch Association of Accountants and Controllers (NBA/VRC) and is a regular speaker on this topic at national and international conferences.
Before joining KPMG, Joris worked abroad for Shell for 11 years in various financial management roles at both global and regional levels. As Finance Director for Asia Pacific and later the German-speaking region in Europe (DACH), he was responsible for managing and transforming financial and business support functions within 'Production' (downstream) and 'Sales & Marketing' to Shell's SSCs. Prior to his time at Shell, Joris worked as a Financial Business Consultant within the 'Corporate Clients' market group at Arthur Andersen. In addition to an MSc in Business Administration, he holds a BSc in Public Administration.

Dr. Uli Erxleben serves as the Founder and CEO of Hypatos, a company based in Berlin and New York that specializes in developing machine learning software for document processing automation. Uli holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, as well as a Ph.D. in Finance from TU Darmstadt. Following his academic achievements, he gained professional experience at McKinsey & Company in Berlin and Palo Alto. Subsequently, Uli served as the Managing Director of Rocket Internet SE in the US and played a key role in overseeing early-stage investments at ProSiebenSat1 SE. Since 2014, he has been an entrepreneur focused on process automation within the finance sector.
