Now, a year after forming its automation Center of Excellence, the team is already automating over 2 million tasks, saving over 100,000 hours of work with 500+ engaged users across 20 countries. Todd Blevins, Vice President, Global Business Services, UL along with John Neaylon, Account Executive, Catalytic will share the global safety certification company’s experience in building a successful automation initiative with shared services use cases, along with important lessons learned along the way.

Todd Blevins has been leading global business services organizations for over 15 years with a mission of leveraging shared services, automation and workforce transformation to free the business’ he supports to create greater enterprise value.
Todd currently is the Vice President of Global Business Services for Underwriters Laboratories (UL), the global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification services. Prior to joining UL, Todd previous led GBS/Shared Services Operations at The US Dept. of Transportation, Hertz and Cadbury. Prior to these roles, Todd worked in management consulting where he led systems implementations and process improvement engagements. He has been a reoccurring speaker at GBS industry events as well as participating on industry advisory boards.
Todd is originally from Texas where he graduated from Abilene Christian University. He is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management Professional. Todd recently competed the Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy executive certification program through MIT’s Sloan School of Business and is now completing the requirements to receive the Advanced Diploma, Global Business Services professional certification through The Hackett Institute.
As an advisor for digital agility and transformation in enterprise SaaS, John is passionate about helping organizations use automation and AI technology to run smarter and more efficiently. At Catalytic, John leads our Strategic Accounts, collaborating with customers to envision the future of work, and targeting enhancements to realize that future.
John is an experienced management consulting professional with a demonstrated history advising corporations. John attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Economics and Finance.
